Account

  • How do I create an account?

    Go to Create an account. You can choose between a buy account and a sell account.
    
    					With a buy account you can:
    					
    1. Easily buy digital content.
    With a sell account you can:
    1. Sell digital content on your website or app, without transaction costs per sold item.
    2. Receive donations.
    3. Easily buy digital content.
    Creating an account is free and simple — all you need is an email address.
  • I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

    If you have forgotten your password or have trouble logging into your Uhmi account, go to Forgot your password?. Enter the email address you use for your Uhmi account and we will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
  • How do I change my password?

    To change your current password, go to Change password in Account.
  • I didn't receive a verification email. What should I do?

    If you have not received your verification email from Uhmi, it might be in your spam folder or junk mail.
    
    					Can't find it? Log in to your Uhmi account, here you will immediately see a page on verifying your email address. If you do not see this page, it means that your email address has already been verified.
  • My email address is already taken. What should I do?

    It is not possible to create multiple Uhmi accounts with the same email address. If your email address is already linked to a Uhmi account, but you are not the owner of that account, please contact us and let us know which email address it concerns.

International & Currencies

  • What countries does Uhmi support?

    Uhmi is available in almost every country. So buying and selling globally is no problem.
    				If you do experience problems in a country, please contact us.
  • What currencies does Uhmi support?

    Uhmi currently supports the currencies stated below. We do our best to add more currencies soon.

  • Can I make payments in other currencies?

    Yes, and we'll automatically take care of the conversion. With an international payment the price is shown in both your own and the foreign currency.
  • Are there additional charges for a payment in a different currency?

    No. There are no additional costs for a payment in a different currency.
  • How does Uhmi calculate foreign exchange rates?

    With a payment in a different currency, the price is shown in both your own and the foreign currency. To ensure an accurate exchange rate, we work with Open Exchange Rates.
  • Why can't I change my currency?

    You can only change your currency when your Credit (and with a sell account, Earnings and Potential too) is €0,00. With this we ensure that after conversion, due to rounding, the converted amounts do not differ from the original amount.

Credit

  • How do I add credit?

    You can Add credit via credit card or other known payment methods. Adding credit is free of charge and your chosen amount is automatically added to your account after checkout. You can have a maximum credit of €150,00.
    
    				You can also choose to have your credit automatically topped up by using auto top-up. Auto top-up makes sure you never run out of credit by automatically adding an amount to your Uhmi account whenever your credit falls below a certain level. This amount will then be debited from your bank account or credit card.

  • Are there any costs to adding credit?

    No. Adding credit is free of charge.
  • What payment methods can I use to add credit?

    You can add credit via known payment methods, such as credit card and other known payment methods.

  • I am not able to add credit. What should I do?

    Contact us and let us know which payment method you have chosen, what browser you're using and what error message you get. So we can sort it out for you as soon as we can.
  • Can I payout my credit?

    No, unfortunately this is not possible.

Buy

  • On some purchases I can choose my own price. What's up with that?

    Sellers have the option to offer their content for a fixed price or use the “Pay What You Want” model. If a seller opts for the “Pay What You Want” model, you are free to pay whatever you want. Please note that sellers can determine a minimum amount.
  • I am not satisfied with my purchase. What can I do?

    Sellers have the option to offer their buyers a refund. When a refund is not possible, it will be clearly indicated at the time of purchase.
    
    					If you have purchased an item which is refundable, you have up to 1 days after purchase to request a refund. After these 1 days, a refund is no longer possible.
    					In Transactions you can see per payment how much time you have left to request a refund.
    
    					To request a refund:
    					
    1. Log in to your Uhmi account.
    2. Go to Transactions.
    3. Go to the the payment that you would like refunded and open it.
    4. Click on the button “I would like a refund”.
    5. Follow the instructions.
    Have you purchased an item that is non-refundable and you are dissatisfied? Then we recommend you to contact the seller.
  • What is meant by “This purchase is non-refundable”?

    If at an item the message “This purchase is non-refundable” is shown , it means that you cannot get a refund for this item.
    
    					If you are uncertain about an item, you can look at the details of the payment for more information.
  • How many days do I have to request a refund?

    When an item is refundable, you have up to 1 days after purchase to request a refund. In Transactions you can see per payment how much time you have left to request a refund.

Troubleshooting

  • Something went wrong with my connection and now I have to pay again. What should I do?

    You can check whether the payment was successful:
    					
    1. Log in to your Uhmi account.
    2. Go to Transactions.
    3. Look for the relevant payment.
    4. It's there? In the details of the payment, behind “Product:”, you can find a link to the item. If you are not directed to the item by clicking on the link, please contact the seller.
    If you are not able to find the payment in Transactions, the payment has not been successful and you can safely try again.
  • My purchase is not accessible. What should I do?

    Perhaps you can access it this way:
    					
    1. Log in to your Uhmi account.
    2. Go to Transactions.
    3. Look for the relevant payment.
    4. In the details of the payment, behind “Product:”, you can find a link to the item. Click on the link to go the item.

Sell

  • What is the minimum amount I can charge for an item?

    At Uhmi you don't have to pay transaction costs per item sold, therefore you can offer your content for as little as €0,01. 
  • What payment models can I use?

    Uhmi offers three payment models:
    					
    1. A fixed price. You set the price, which cannot be modified by the buyer.
    2. A “Pay What You Want” model. You offer your digital content for free, but buyers have the option to pay. They are allowed to fill in their own price.
    3. A “Pay What You Want” model with a fixed minimum price. You set a minimum price, but buyers have the option to pay more.
  • What is meant by “Pay What You Want”?

    With the “Pay What You Want” model you let your buyers decide what they want to pay for an item. The model has two variations:
    					
    1. You offer your digital content for free, but buyers have the option to pay. They can fill in their own price.
    2. You set a minimum price, but buyers have the option to pay more. They can fill in a higher amount.
  • Where can I find an overview of my sales?

    An overview of your income and expenses can be found in Transactions. Here you can also look at the details of a transaction.

Payout

  • How can I payout my earnings?

    You can payout your earnings when you have earned €5,00 or more.
    
    					To payout your earnings:
    					
    1. Log in to your Uhmi account.
    2. Go to Payout earnings.
    3. Fill in the name of the account holder and the account number.
    4. Approve the payout with your password.
    5. Confirm by clicking the button “Payout earnings”.
    We will remember your bank account, so that next time you can payout your earnings easier and faster. If you would like to receive your earnings on a different bank account you can easily change your financial details.
  • How often can I payout my earnings?

    Every day. As long as your earnings are equal to or more than the minimum payout amount of €5,00.
  • How long before the earnings are transferred to my bank account?

    Bank transfers take 3-5 business days, depending on your bank. Additionally, bank transfers will not be deposited on weekends and bank holidays.
  • I haven't received my earnings yet. What should I do?

    You can transfer your earnings to your bank account using the page Payout earnings. The minimum payout amount is €5,00.

  • I have accidentally specified a wrong bank account. What should I do?

    Please contact us as soon as possible and let us know which transaction reference it concerns, we'll see what we can do for you. Unfortunately, bank transfers are very difficult to reverse.
    
    				The transaction reference can be found in the details of the transaction in Payouts.
